the creation station blog hop - for the birds

It's the 1st Sunday of the month which means it's blog hop time with The Creation Station. We're a group of 12 Stampin' Up! demonstrators who come together for a hop twice a month (1st & 3rd Sunday) showcasing specific stamp sets or products to help show you, our readers, different ways to use these products!

Today's pick was to create something using one (or more!) of these products:
1) Something for Baby or Baby We've Grown stamp sets (or any baby themed cards, gifts, etc)
2) For the Birds Stamp Set
3) Hamburger Box Die

Now I don't own either of the baby stamp sets mentioned or the Hamburger Box Die (yet!), so I decided to go with my much beloved For the Birds stamp set to help inspire you today!

I am really into card sets, so I thought it would be fun to create a set of five notecards (3-1/2" x 5") using an image on each card. And, since the new catalog debuts TOMORROW, I wanted to give you another peek at the 2014-2016 In-Colors (Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Tangelo Twist, Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss). Each of the card bases are these five colors.

{For the Birds}
Wood Mount - $32.95
Clear Mount - $24.95

Each of the cards I colored using the coordinating 2014-2016 In Colors and Blender Pens.

I think this would make such a cute gift, so I used one of our Chevron Gift Bags and tucked each of the cards inside (including envelopes). I added the sixth image from the set and cut it out with the Banner Framelits and then tied a bow with Lost Lagoon Satin Ribbon.
