Sale-A-Bration Flowering Fields

Today I wanted to share with you a card we made for this month's card making night. I really wanted to feature some of the Sale-A-Bration products and so I chose to use both the Flowering Fields stamp set and Wildflower Fields DSP...combining them both into one card. I have always found Rich Razzleberry to be a stunning color, so I had no problem playing with this as my card base. I chose to set out many of the sentiments from the Rose Wonder stamp set as it has some pretty great choices! The Flowering Fields stamp set allows you to really add any sentiment that works for the card you are wanting to make.

And what's a card without a little shimmer, so I showed all of the ladies our new Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen. Everyone loved this pen!!

And like many of the cards I create for card nights, I always leave a little room for each guest to make it their own, so they had all of the flowers from the stamp set as options and they could make it the card they wanted! Here is my second sample with changing up the flowers and sentiment.

Project Life Memories in the Making

We're sharing Project Life by Stampin' Up! over at the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration blog today. I am trying to "dabble" a little in Project Life these days, but I still have a lot to learn! I REALLY need motivation to get back into memory keeping and I just love how Project Life creates a quick and easy way to capture moments on pages.

But...I need to start with baby steps, and because I haven't printed off pictures in awhile, I decided to use the Project Life Memories in the Making stamp set & Memories in the Making Accessory Pack to create this fun note card.

It's a simple hello card, but how fun would it be to get this in the mail just to say hi!

My monthly card making night is tonight! Here is a quick & easy design I created for my event that showcases THREE Sale-A-Bration products!

Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

I specifically wanted to showcase the Hello stamp set as this particular set will only be available to earn for free through February 15th. I made a sample for a boy and a girl, so each of the stampers will get to choose which they'd like to make!

SSINK Blog Hop ~ 2016 Occasions Catalog Favorites

The 2016 Occasions Catalog has been live for a couple of weeks now. There are so many favorites creeping onto my wish list that I almost feel like I might buy the whole catalog when it's all said and done! I also feel like each week I have a new favorite as soon as I start playing with a different product. I don't know if I'll ever decide which is my true favorite! Can anyone else relate to this?

As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to hear from our followers! You should have just left stop number 6 on the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop - Leanne at Literally My Joy. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn't work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below.

I thought I would share with you a list of my favorites (for now) from the 2016 Occasions Catalog all on one card! There are so many things I like about these things...the color combination of the paper, all the sparkle in the glimmer paper and glitter ribbon, and the font style of the sentiments in the stamp set. So pretty!

It's VERY HARD to take a picture of the Wink of Stella Glitter on a card, but if you look closely you will see in the middle of the stamped flower there is a little bit of glitter. It looks better in person, I promise! It's a very subtle glitter and doesn't stand out like using Dazzling Diamonds with a glue pen, but using this new pen removes all the mess! Just brush and voila!

Sale-A-Bration Hello!

Have you gotten some Sale-A-Bration freebies yet? Maybe you've only been able to browse the you have a favorite? There are so many awesome Sale-A-Bration products to choose from this time around and with a $50 purchase you get to choose one just for you! Visit my online store to start shopping ~

I have a few sample cards using one of the Sale-A-Bration sets called Hello. Right now this is a favorite of mine from the brochure. There are a few products in this year's Sale-A-Bration brochure that are only available through February 15th...this set is one of them, so don't wait too long to earn this set!

I paired this Sale-A-Bration stamp set with some of the Cherry on Top products (from the 2015-2016 Annual Catalog). I thought it would be fun to use the exact same layout and colors, but just add a few different accents and change up who the card is intended for. I used this card design for a card night I held last night, so it's always good to show many variations.

Celebrate Today ~ It's My Party!

We're sharing birthday cards today at the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration blog!

I created this card to use for Tuesday's card making night. I love this layout because it is such a fun way to show off a variety of paper patterns in one card. This card showcases the new It's My Party DSP Stack, which you can find in the new 2016 Occasions Catalog!

I couldn't decide which way I liked the banner to be, so I just gave the option to do both! Plus, my guests could choose from the new Two-Tone Bake's Twine ~ either Mint Macaron or Melon Mambo. And do you spy the new It's My Party Enamel Dots? They come in three different colors (Mint Macaron, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry) with two sizes of each.

Which way do you think you would attach the banner?
Straight or tied onto the twine and let it hang?

Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Mint Macaron, Whisper White, It's My Party DSP
SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Two-Tone Twine (Mint Macaron / Melon Mambo), It's My Party Enamel Dots

Sunset Work of Art

I finally broke down and ordered the Wetlands Stamp Set during the stamp sale back in November because I needed some more sets that would work for masculine cards. Plus, I have seen so many beautiful things with this set that I just had to get it!

While browsing Pinterest, I came across this card created by Jenn Tinline that I just knew I had to CASE! The Wetlands stamp set pairs up with the Work of Art set to create a beautiful sunset beach scene. This card, although it uses a lot of colors, is very clean and simple. The colors speak for themselves! I used the longer image from the Work of Art stamp set to create both the beach and the ocean, but just kept stamping and not re-inking each time. This gave it a different color effect so all the shades were different. A simple Early Espresso candy dot finishes off the card nicely with the images being the star of the show!

Stamp Sets
Wetlands, Work of Art
Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, So Saffron, Calypso Coral
Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Whisper White
SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals, White Glitter Ribbon, Season of Cheer Washi Tape, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Softly Falling Textured Embossing Folder, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch
