Botanical Tag

We held our annual "Sale-A-Brate" Team Meeting on Wednesday where my direct upline and I plan a get together with our downline around Sale-A-Bration time and spoil them a little. We each bring some sort of small gift for our team and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to use the Baker's Box Thinlits and create a cute tag to add to the box! Of course I had to pull out the Botanical Builders Framelits ~ new from the 2016 Occasions Catalog! I really love how this simple tag turned out. It was a little longer than what I first had in my mind and since I didn't create a hole at the top to tie it through I decided to use a mini clothespin to attach it to the box.

Bonus!! The Baker's Box Thinlits Dies are on the Weekly Deals this week!

{Oh What Fun} Tag Project Kit

We're sharing all about Christmas tags today over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.

I invited my Card Club over at the end of November for an exclusive "card club only" event where each of them could make 5 tags from the Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit. (They also made 3 cards from another kit...but I will share that another day!) This tag kit is currently on sale for $14.70 (reg. $21). Stamp set is sold separately.

Here's a picture of the set up. Each of the ten tags had their own little bucket which included all of the pieces needed and instructions for each tag.

These are all of the tags when completed. For these tags, I basically just made them as shown in the instructions. It made it easier for my club gals to copy exactly if they wanted to.

I had some leftover tags and it has been so nice having a cute tag to grab when I want to give some goodies to some special people.

Friday Favorites ~ Howl-o-Ween Treat

It's FRIDAY!! Oh, and the day before Halloween, which means lots of candy and treats ~ oh my! I like to give a little something to the teachers each holiday. This year for Halloween I found these adorable "mummy" candy bowls at Target and thought it would be cute to put some Fall-colored candies in them and wrap them up with a fun tag attached.

Here's an up close picture of the tag. I created the tag using Happy Haunting DSP and the Triple Banner Punch. I pulled out my FAVORITE stamp set (at the moment) called Howl-o-Ween Treat (which I won while at Convention!) and stamped the owl using Basic Black Archival Ink. I thought it would be cute to have him holding a little pumpkin treat bag, so I inked that up in Tangelo Twist and cut that out, too. The "Happy Halloween" sentiment comes from the And Many More stamp set which I cut out using my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and the Bitty Banner Framelits. The ribbon is retired, but for these kinds of gifts it's the perfect time to use up my retired stash! :)

Isn't this set adorable? I didn't get to use it much this year since I was lacking in my Halloween inspiration (and lacking in time), but I'll hold onto it for next year! Click HERE to see what else I created using this set!

Head on over to the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration blog to find out what is on a few of our other designer's favorites list right now!
