color challenge - Hello Again!

I just wanted to pop in real quick to share a card I created for the Paper Players Color Challenge this week, which is also one of the cards we will be making tonight at my Farewell Fiesta Card Making Night! My co-host and I have created 6 cards all using retiring sets as we "ink up" some of them one last time before saying "adios"!

LOVE these colors together!!

I'll be back to update with all of the details after tonight's event!
Updated: Find out all of the details on this card HERE.

Gotta run!

And, while you're here...
scoot on over to enter into my giveaway by clicking HERE.

Edited to add on 6/9/11:
I'm so pleased and honored to be chosen as "A Cut Above" for this week's Paper Players Color Challenge. Thank you, Cindy!

for baby

I was invited to a baby shower for Saturday afternoon and wanted to make a cute little baby boy card. So, I decided to try another card using this week's colors at The Color Dare, but this time add in Chocolate Chip like I was supposed to (unlike my first card). I really love the addition of Chocolate Chip with the colors Very Vanilla, Tempting Turquoise, and Pear Pizzazz.

Updated to add on 6-7-11: What an honor it was to be chosen as the Featured Stamper at The Color Dare for this card!

{punch art sailboat inspired by Mary Fish}
**The sails of the sailboat are created using a 1 3/8" Square punch cut in half, then I cut a 1" square and cut that in half. The little "flag" at the top is cut free-hand. The bottom circle is half of a 1 3/4" Circle punch.**

Stamp Set:
Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper: Very Vanilla, Pear Pizzazz, Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Brights Pattern Pack (Tempting Turquoise)

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Accessories: 1/2" Poly-Stitched Pear Pizzazz ribbon, Itty Bitty Buttons, glue dots (for button)

Tools: 1 3/4" Circle punch, 1 3/8" Square punch, Word Window punch

introducing...Craft Project Central

I am so honored to be chosen as one of the June designers for Craft Project Central! (My project will come later in the month...so stay tuned!)

Craft Project Central offers ideas for workshops, classes, clubs, and just plain fun crafting, so whether you are a SU! demonstrator or an avid crafter, Craft Project Central is perfect for you! Each month Craft Project Central features projects from 10 Stampin' Up demonstrators. Each month you subscribe to will give you access to 10 projects with detailed, full-color, step-by-step instructions. Projects are easy to duplicate, practical, and functional. All of this for only $10 for each month that you subscribe! New projects will be loaded every two to three days, so once you subscribe come back often to see the new projects!

Once there is a new project up on the Craft Project Central site during the month of June, I will post it here on my blog, but you will need to subscribe to Craft Project Central to get all of the details!

Our first project is created by Julie at Inkredible Stamping. She has designed a fun and fabulous Father's day project for us!

Dad’s favorite candy or a gift card are extra special when you wrap the gift in a Dress Shirt Gift Bag! Pair the gift with a coordinating card and you’re set for Father’s Day, which is right around the corner!! Project includes instructions for the dress shirt, gift bag, origami tie (so cute!!) and the Father’s Day card! This project would also be great for gifts for any man in your life, husband, co-worker, boss (and if your boss is a female, make it feminine!)!

Head on over to Craft Project Central to sign up!

I was the Featured Stamper for last week's color challenge over at The Color Dare! We were encouraged to use the colors So Saffron, Concord Crush, and a Neutral of our choice (I chose Crumb Cake).

Here is the card I created...

{more details in my earlier post HERE}

You really need to head on over to The Color Dare to play along...it's so much fun! This week's colors are Pear Pizzazz, Tempting Turquoise, and Very Vanilla. I hope to be able to come up with something fun!
