My Stamp Club met tonight...what a fun time we had!! The ladies really loved the projects we made and their enthusiasm was contagious! I had such a great time! Each month, I ask the scheduled hostess what they would like to do as the club project. Sarah, this month's hostess, was interested in creating some punch art, and since Christmas is just around the corner...I decided it was time for Rudolph & Santa Claus to come out to play! I thought it would be extra fun to add the punch art to gift card holders since that is quite the common gift during the holidays. We made two simple gift card holders that can easily be reproduced.
Gift Card Holder #1
Punch Art: Rudolph
*Rudolph inspiration found HERE. The only thing I changed was using the Swirls Scribbles Sizzlits Die in place of the Tulip Bigz Die.
*Directions for Top Note gift card holder found HERE. She has a great video tutorial!
Punches used for Rudolph: Extra-Large Oval, Boho Blossoms (largest flower), 1/2" Circle, 1/4" Circle, Swirls Scribbles Sizzlits Die
Colors used for Rudolph: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, Basic Black
Other supplies: Jolly Holiday DSP, Cherry Cobbler CS, Chocolate Chip ink (for inked edges of Rudolph), white gel pen, black marker, dimensionals, Top Note die
Stamp Set: Season of Joy
*Santa inspiration found HERE. There are many versions of punch art Santa that I have seen, but my favorite thing about this one is how you cut off 4 of the scallops on the Circle Scallop punch and turn it upside down to create the mustache. I decided to add a 1/4" circle (regular hole punch) in Pretty in Pink for the mouth.
*Directions for gift card holder found HERE. This is another great video tutorial...so easy to follow!
Punches used for Santa: 1 3/8" Circle, Circle Scallop, 1/4" Circle, Word Window, 1 3/4"x 7/8" Large Oval, Boho Blossoms (smallest flower)
Colors used for Santa: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink (mouth), Blush Blossom (retired), Cherry Cobbler
Other supplies: Jolly Holiday DSP, Old Olive CS, Pretty in Pink (used with sponge dauber for cheeks), Blush Blossom marker
Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Stamp Set: Day of Gratitude
Paper: More Mustard, Old Olive, Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Paper
Ink: More Mustard, Old Olive, Cajun Craze (edges of DSP is sponged with Cajun Craze)
Accessories: Scallop Circle Bigz Die, hemp twine, Old Olive button, dimensionals, Chocolate Chip double-stitched grosgrain ribbon (retired)
