new hostess benefits!

Wow! I never imagined that my summer would result in being so BUSY...even when we haven't really gone anywhere! It's the daily here, there, and everywhere that has kept me feeling a little behind on daily tasks and which has also resulted in little time spent in my craft room...and having nothing much to share! However, I will be guest designing for Craft Project Central again in August and will soon have lots of projects to share...never mind that not all of them will be mine (*wink*), but at least there will be something inspiring I can share here on this neglected blog!

Have you heard about the NEW hostess benefits that came in affect at the beginning of this month? Host a party with friends with a workshop sales total of $150 or more and now you're able to spend hostess dollars on exclusive hostess products OR anything you like in the catalog. Plus, if you host a party worth $400, you will get to choose one item in the catalog at 50% off. As shown below, it only gets better from there!!

Here is just a sampling of some exclusive hostess products that are on MY list!

Tagtastic

Posy Punch

Ain't Love Grand

Happiest Birthday Wishes

Cheerful Treat Designer Series Paper

Just let me know if you're interested in hosting a catalog party or getting together with friends, not only to stamp and play, but to earn free product, too!! E-mail me at heidilynneboos{at}hotmail{dot}com for more information, if interested. And, remember...no matter if it's just YOU with a wish list of $150 or more, you are still eligible to earn hostess benefits! Would that make the perfect birthday present? YES!!

Don't forget!
During the month of July
I am selling the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog for only $5 (reg. price $9.95). Plus, you'll get a fun little "new catalog survival kit" to go with it! Contact me before the weekend is over to get yours today!!

new in-colors found at Home Depot!

While in Home Depot last Friday night...
What with my eyes did I happen to see?

The new Stampin' Up! In-Colors staring back at me!

{The only one missing from the tub collection was Island Indigo.}

Which new In-Color is your favorite?

Hang in there with me...I know you haven't "seen" me much around here! I'm busy getting ready for my 1st Annual "Craft Cleanout" Sale this Friday at my home! I have 13 crafters who are looking to sell their unused crafting items in exchange for brand new Stampin' Up! catalog product. I think this event will be super fun and I look forward to hosting each year. Not only will it be a great way to "clean out" some crafting supplies I (and others) are not using, but I hope it will be a great business boost, too!

And, just so you know...

When you purchase a kit, there are NO STRINGS ATTACHED. However, if you do decide to begin the Stampin' Up! journey, we need ALL KINDS of Demonstrators! What kind would you consider being?
  • FRIENDS & FAMILY DEMONSTRATOR: You just want to buy all your stamping and scrapbooking supplies at a great discount and help your "friends & family" get their supplies too! Also want access to great "demonstrator only" websites and monthly idea magazine–always tons of ideas at your fingertips! No pressure to sell to others, attend events, or communicate with anyone – you just simply order when you want to.
  • GIVE IT A TRY DEMONSTRATOR: You join Stampin' Up! to see what it is all about – with no long-term commitment or plan. You purchase the kit (which is a great deal all by itself), have a couple of workshops or classes, just to see if you might like it. If you find it's not for you–you can become a "discount purchaser" or just say "good bye!"
  • HOBBY DEMONSTRATOR: You like the idea if doing workshops and earning extra money, but only when it’s convenient for you. You might work a lot some months and very little, or not at all, during other months. You love to stamp and/or scrapbook and like to support your own “hobby" so that you can buy everything that you want with the money you earn!
  • PART TIME DEMONSTRATOR: You see the potential to do a little work and earn a little money on a consistent basis. You want no pressure to ever do more than you want, but you want help and support from a "upline" who truly cares about you and your goals. You may have specific goals in mind–pay for preschool, college tuition, car payment, new furniture, etc…
  • CAREER DEMONSTRATOR: You recognize the potential of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and want to build a business with long-term career goals. You want to pursue management and want to move up the career ladder. You love attending Stampin’ Up! events and building relationships with other demonstrators and customers. You intend to work at your business in a consistent and outgoing manner.
**Thank you to Aly Stamps for the above demonstrator descriptions.

cricket, cricket

So, do you hear crickets here on my blog since I haven't posted in awhile? A long while!! Good grief...this summer sun is getting the best of me (in a good way). All play and no work, I guess! (Even though I would never consider stamping work!) My kids are too little for me to let them roam free outside in the front yard riding bikes and scooter, so mommy gets to join them outside while they play. Which, leaves me little time to stamp!

I'll be back soon...I promise!

But, in the meantime...

Did you see that the fabulous new 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog just came out?!

{click on the above picture to check it out online}

Want to own a hard copy?

During the month of July I am selling them for only $5!
(reg. price $9.95)

I'll also throw in a new catalog "survival kit" just for fun!

fabulous florets trifold card holder...on CPC

Another fun project to share with you from Craft Project Central...

Make this pretty little trifold card holder, give it to a friend and tell her once she uses the cards inside, so make more and pass it along to another friend! And so on, a kind of "pay-it-forward" gift! What could be more fun than that? This is a fun and easy project that is a great gift, as mentioned, and is also a great class or club project!

Visit HERE to see the beautiful inside!

more Craft Project Central projects...and some winners!

Last week was a busy week for me! I had a 3 for $6 card night on Tuesday. The next day, the family and I headed up North a couple of hours and took a trip to Great Wolf Lodge, a hotel with a HUGE water park. It was such a blast!! We got back on Thursday night and I went straight to work preparing for my Farewell Fiesta Stampin' Event on Friday night. Then came a busy Saturday and even busier Sunday with Father's Day! I've taken the last few days to just unwind and get things done around the house and play with the kids a little (in the SUN - yes, we finally got sun on Tuesday!). Which means over the last few days not a lot of stamping has been done!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I do, however, have a couple more projects to share with you from Craft Project Central. Don't forget that every month you subscribe to for only $10, you are receiving 10 full tutorials with pictures, step by step instructions, and a complete supply list. Each of these projects are created with Stampin' Up! only products, which would be great for a stamp camp or club.

Here is part two of the Fabulous Florets Wedding Ensemble (click here for part one). This project includes instructions and templates for the table tent, menu card, place card, favor box, and thank you card! This great project can easily be altered for other party themes like birthdays, showers, Thanksgiving, etc.!

{this project is designed and created by Sonya at Paper Creations}

Here is a cute little "planting party" birthday invitation and favor box. This is a cute idea for a boy (or girls) birthday party. It would also be cute for a garden party or as a gift for someone who loves gardening! Project includes instructions and templates for the invitation and favor!
