I created this card using colors from this week's color challenge at The Color Dare...
Pear Pizzazz
Tempting Turquoise
Very Vanilla
You'll notice that the turtle is actually stamped on the inside of the card and I made hole for it to show through from the front.
Here is the inside...
And up close...
I added a little black dot for the eye...does it seem too creepy?
I also added some "shadows" on the ground.

This is a very cute work of art, Heidi! I've had a play with that little turtle this week, too - been neglected for too long. I laughed at your suggestion that the black dot on his eye might be creepy; I think it's perfect.
Oh this is so stinkin' cute!! Love the turtle peeking through...and veryb clever tgo add that simple shadow
Thanks for playing with the Color Dare!
This is awesome. I haven't used this technique of leaving a hole and stamping the image on the inside of the card in a VERY long time. Thanks for the reminder.
Super cute card, Heidi!! I love that little turtle and stamping the image on the inside sure makes a FUN card :) Thanks for joining our Color Dare challenge this week :)
LOVE IT! I think it's perfect! That little turtle is so cute and I just love the shading detail that you added below him! Thanks for playing with us at Color Dare this week!
How. Cute. Is. That!
I'm in love with that little turtle! What a great entry for this week's Color Dare and hope to see you again!

Hi! Very cute card! In regards to "creepy eye", I've always found that if you make the black dot for an eye just a bit larger, then it doesn't look as creepy. It's got something to do with the way we humans perceive pupil size. :)
