three little spiders

Another Halloween card to share with you in preparation for my Holiday Catalog Open House this afternoon! It will be a busy day, but I'll have lots more to share after it's over, including all of my samples and make n takes.

Thanks to the Paper Craft Crew (formerly Stampin' Queens Challenge blog) for the sketch inspiration (Although somehow I missed the deadline to enter. Not sure where my brain was at, but I have a pretty good idea...)

Gotta love the new Googly Ghouls stamp set and this spider couldn't be any cuter...er, I mean scarier! Just had to use the new Googlies (adhesive-backed googly eyes...50 for only $2.50) to make the middle spider stand out. I also embossed the "Boooo" in black, but unfortunately you can't really get the full effect in the picture.

Card Recipe
Stamp Set: Googly Ghouls (Holiday Catalog)
Paper: Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, Basic Gray, Very Vanilla, Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP
Ink: Black Staz-On, Versarmark (for embossing)
Accessories: Dimensionals, Googlies, Glimmer Brads, 1/2" Very Vanilla Taffeta ribbon (retired), Black Embossing Powder
Tools: Big Shot, Large Scallop Edgelit, 1" Circle punch, Paper Piercing Tool & Mat

I am also joining in Terry's Great Pumpkin Blog Hop again this week! Get a jump start on your Halloween projects and join in the fun!
