I kind of did the "cheater method" of watercoloring (I didn't even use watercolor paper, shhhh...don't tell!) and used the blender pen with my ink pads. It gives such a soft look to the coloring versus just using the markers themselves.
Stamp Set: Morning Cup, Friendly Phrases
Paper: Lucky Limeade, Basic Black, Whisper White, Poppy Parade polka dots (retired hostess pack)
Ink: Black Stazon, Blender Pen...used with Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Dimensionals, Rhinestone Accents, 1/2" Poppy Parade Poly-Stitched ribbon
Tools: 1-1/4" Circle punch, 1-3/8" Circle punch
For inspiration...
I hope that you are able to join in the fun at The Paper Players with your watercoloring creations. The challenge closes on Friday, April 20th at 12:00 Noon PST. Come on by to get inspired by the rest of the design team.

Heidi your "cheater method" works! I just love all the tea cups stacked together like that. You have the clean and simple down, and what I mean by that is "you make it look simple"!!! Love love this card!

Cute as can be! Don't ya love those big polka dots on the DSP? I do!
This is absolutely delightful Heidi! I love it! The sketch is great too!~
Love these little teacups...and what a great way to combine the color & sketch challenge into it as well! Clever girl!
Love your stacked tea cups! I use that "cheater" method fairly often. Woo Hoo!
This is darling Heidi! I am a big fan of blender pens+ink and you've done a great job highlighting the challenge colors. The sentiment is perfect for the stack of cups too. A delightful card! I hope you had a great weekend with the girls!!
Ha! Cheater method? I don't believe it, as the result is absolutely gorgeous, Heidi! Love that tower of teacups matched with the polka dot background. Wow! Fresh and fun, in every way! Hope you are off to a great start to the week! Big hugs! :)
Oh, no! I didn't know blender pens and inks were cheating. Shhh! This is the method I always use, but don't tell anyone! lol I LOVE this clean and simple card! The coordination of colors and paper is perfect!

Heidi, I don't think its the cheater method at all. It was inks and it included water - and you blended them:-) Sounds like watercoloring to me! I actually love this card - love it!
