happy BIG day - clean & simple
Last week's card night was a HUGE hit! I had 16 stampers in all...7 were club members who get their cards FREE each month with a minimum monthly order. Non-club members also get to attend these monthly nights and pay $10 for the 4 cards. If they choose to order $20 out of the catalog, they receive the cards half off. If they spend $40 or more, their cards are free! After skipping my monthly card nights for a year (and just having 2 "exclusive" clubs going), it has been nice to put these card nights back in the schedule and to open them up to anyone who would like to come!
We created two Christmas cards (already shared HERE and HERE) and one Thanksgiving card (shared HERE), but I also wanted to have a birthday card option available, too! This one is super simple, but I love that the Birthday Basics DSP helps makes the card pop with color! I think I will be giving this one to my kids' principal today for his birthday...the colors could work for a boy or a girl!

SS INKspiration - Framelits Friday with Festive Flurry!
Yay for Framelits Friday at the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration!! Stampin' Up! has really done an amazing job at creating some fabulous Framelits, which are used with the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine. They are basically a punch, but for the Big Shot! I held my monthly card night last night where the stampers created 4 cards. Each card used Framelits in some way...I guess you could say I am becoming slightly obsessed!
This card I want to share with you today was one of two Christmas cards we created. I was so excited when this one came together because I love snowflakes! And, the Festive Flurry stamp set and coordinating framelits are definitely on my favorite list right now!

Stylin' Stampin Squad Blog Hop - Christmas favorites
Thank you so much for joining us for the November Stylin’ Stampin’
Squad Blog Hop! This month our projects focus on Christmas. While we have yet to give thanks this month, some of us are already thinking
about sending Christmas cards, what kind of packaging to present gifts
in and how we want to deck our halls. On this month’s blog hop we are
showcasing many of the Stampin’ Up! products that are available in the
Holiday Catalog. You will see everything from cards to gift tags to 3-D
décor and gift packaging. We hope you enjoy seeing how we use the
products to create our projects and feel inspired to come up with some
great projects of your own. Remember you can order all of the products showcased from your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. You should have just left stop number 9 on the Stylin’ Stampin’ Squad blog hop – Diana of Stampin' Fun with Diana. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn’t work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below.
One of my Christmas favorites right now is the Color Me Christmas stamp set and paired with the Season of Style DSP Stack you can make quick work of some fun cards!
I used the reindeer from the Color Me Christmas set and colored him using blender pens and the ink from the lid of the ink pads (Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, & Cherry Cobbler). I also added some Dazzling Diamonds with 2-way glue on the scarf and shirt, but it doesn't show up as sparkly in the picture as it does in real life! He needed a little red nose, so I popped on a Cherry Cobbler candy dot. The circles come from the Circle Framelits!
Open it up to reveal the message using another favorite ~ Endless Wishes. Wouldn't this be cute if you opened it up to a Christmas picture inside?
And, of course add a fun box of kisses decorated to match for a perfect gift! It's so easy with the Decorative Window Boxes (a definite fave of mine!). And, I love that 1" Cherry Cobbler Grosgrain Ribbon! It makes such beautiful bows for Christmastime! I was going to add a tag, but since I plan on giving the box with the card, I decided to keep it simple by adding some of the Season of Style DSP to match and left it with that.

SS Inkspiration - Festive Flurry CASE
Today at the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration blog some of the designers made cards that "CASE ourselves". To CASE means Copy And Share Everything. It was a lot of fun to think about a card I had made and re-create it with a completely different theme, but use pretty much the exact same design! Talk about not having to re-invent the wheel! I didn't have to stress about the layout and instead could just be creative with the elements. I should do this more often. ;)
You've possibly already seen this card below as I have already shared it HERE and HERE.
Well...this is where the fun comes in because I took the card design above and CASEd myself to create this snowflake Christmas card!
These cards use the new Circle Card Thinlits Die which I truly am in LOVE with!! They definitely help give that "wow" factor! I created this card for my mother-in-law's card night with her friends. And, although this was the "challenge" card for the night I got so many oohs and aahs over it and two gals even put it on their order forms before the night was over!!

The sentiment I used above comes from the adorable new Endless Wishes photopolymer stamp set. Oh, how I love this set! The font, the "endless" word arrangements, and those cute snowflakes...you'll definitely be seeing me use more of this set in the future!
