Gift Giving

Sunday afternoon I held a "gift giving" event at my house. Anyone could come to make 4 Christmas gifts for only $10! It ended up being a small group of 3 who came, but lots of fun was still had! The size was nice for us to be able to all sit down together and work on the project as a group...no written instructions needed! No matter how small or large the group, I always go all out...my stampers deserve that!

Craft Bazaar!

Two weeks ago, I participated in my first craft bazaar as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator...first one EVER, actually! I joined forces with my upline, Andrea, and overall it was a great success! I had lots of fun making the projects in preparation for the event.

Christmas Card Swap & Holiday Extravaganza!

A little over a week ago, we had another downline meeting where those who attended got to swap cards. The meetings usually consist of 6-8 of us who come to learn more about Stampin' Up! techniques and products. This month's swap theme was Christmas, so anyone who wanted to participate brought a Christmas related card using a stamp set from the current catalog or Holiday Mini Catalog.

Here is the one I brought using the Tree Trimmings set.

This one was made by my upline, Andrea using the Sweet Centers set (from the mini catalog) with red hots in the middle.
This one was made using Delightful Decorations, another set from the holiday mini catalog. I just love the un-traditional Christmas colors! And this set is great because we have an Ornament Punch that makes those ornaments quick and easy to punch out!
This card was created using the Hostess Level 1 set from the mini holiday catalog, called Patterned Pines. I've used this set before for a card I created for a workshop last month.
Patterned Pines again. I love the brown tones!

This card was made using the ornament hook from the Sweet Centers set and she embossed it in silver. She then textured the Crushed Curry cardstock before punching a circle out to make the look of an ornament. The background is also textured and it is bordered using the cut out of the Top Note die from our Big Shot.
